Rules/procedures:
We follow the Rotary International guidelines and procedures for this Program and we keep ourselves very much updated on them trying to learn more and more about best ways to improve our Program. For the past 16 years we have send delegates to R.I. Pre Convention of Youth Exchange and Regional YEO Meetings, such as we have been present at the past 7 EEMA YEO Meetings, 2 last USA-Canada YEO Meetings and in all 22 Brazilian Annual YEO Meetings. On November 2001 our District proudly hosted the XXI Brazilian YEO Meeting and I Latin American YEO Meeting. |

School
system:
As all of Brazil schools systems, it started on the beginning of February and ends at the middle of December with one month winter vacation in July. It takes 11 years of school before a student is allowed to take the university entry test, what is a major point in one's life in Brazil. Usually the inbound students attend either the 2nd or the 3rd years of high school, what is equivalent in America as junior or senior year. |

|
Arrival
dates:
The best time for inbound student arrival in our District 4760 and most of Brazil, would be either the first week of February or the first week of August. |

|
Weather:
At this part of the country, the weather is moderate all year around, temperatures ranging from 18 degrees Celsius (July, in the winter) to 32 degreees Celsius in the peak of summer (January). |
